AddEvent has launched its new platform: AddEvent 2.0 → Learn more

For Ecamm, a leading live streaming and video production software company, community engagement is everything. With an active Facebook community of over 25,000 creators and a packed schedule of live shows, workshops, and virtual events, keeping their audience informed and engaged was a challenge.
Before adopting AddEvent, Ecamm relied on a single HTML email template and manual workflows. While effective at first, these setups became increasingly time-consuming to maintain as their community and event lineup expanded.
“We were spending so much time figuring out how to design and manage templates, or even asking ChatGPT to do it for us,” Caleb Dempsey, Ecamm’s Lifecycle Marketing Manager shared. “We needed something faster and more flexible.”

When AddEvent 2.0 first became available, Ecamm joined the beta testing group who received early access to the platform, and immediately saw the difference in their workflows, especially the game-changing no-code design templates.
When asked what the biggest change with AddEvent 2.0 has been for their team, Caleb explained, “Easily the no-code templates…that’s what we’d miss the most if we had to go back to the old version. It’s saving so much time and energy.”
Ecamm now uses multiple custom AddEvent 2.0 no-code design templates to manage their ever-growing lineup of events and workshops. Using a Zapier integration connected to ClickUp, they’ve automated the process: whenever an event is marked “public”, it’s automatically added to AddEvent and shared with their subscribers.
Their audience can also subscribe to regularly updated event calendars through Ecamm’s weekly newsletter, known internally as the Ecamm Content Calendar, to stay on top of upcoming workshops, live broadcasts, and special community programs.
Since moving over to AddEvent 2.0, Ecamm has seen both their efficiency and engagement soar.
In 2025 alone, they ran 10 to 15 week-long workshops, including their flagship Leap Into Video series, which brought in 3,000 RSVPs, a 50/50 split of new leads and returning attendees. The program not only drove revenue from replay access, but also helped convert casual participants into active community members.
They also used AddEvent to power their Creator Camp 2025, embedding AddEvent calendars directly into Notion to build a dynamic “Creator Camp Hub.”

“Because of the new 2.0, it was so easy to embed stuff in Notion,” they said. “AddEvent made it seamless to organize everything in one place.”
Looking ahead, Ecamm plans to expand their event strategy, moving from frequent workshops to quarterly virtual conferences and in-person meetups. For these, they’re planning to use AddEvent’s RSVP forms to gather attendee headcounts and manage logistics, all without adding another tool to their stack.
Today, AddEvent powers much of Ecamm’s event marketing and community engagement strategy, from weekly workshops and office hours to their growing roster of creator events.
They’ve fully embraced the philosophy that a calendar event can be more than just a reminder, it can be fun.
“AddEvent makes it super easy to have fun,” the team said. “A calendar event can turn into something much more engaging and much less dreadful.”
With automation, no-code templates, and built-in flexibility, Ecamm has transformed its community calendar into a key engagement driver, one that keeps their audience coming back, week after week.
